Getting Rid of an Old Vehicle? We Can Help
Bodyline has successfully served the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area for the past quarter century and continues to provide the GTHA with quality used and new auto parts. At our 80,000 sq. ft. facility, we are dedicated to recycling end-of-life vehicles by dismantling them using environmentally friendly methods. Bodyline offers our customers the opportunity to get more from their recycling. We purchase scrap cars at top prices!
We Make It Easy
Customers are welcome to take advantage of our vehicle pick-up service, or they can drive their cars down to our state-of-the-art facility. All that is required for the sale is your car keys, proof of ownership, and drivers license. This simple process takes approximately 5 minutes, and our friendly staff pays cash! At Bodyline, we also purchase old car batteries for $10 each, and we accept car tires for proper disposal.
Our Salvaging Service
Following the dismantling process, our trained personnel effectively clean, inspect, and test all re-usable parts to ensure manufacturer’s standards. The parts are uploaded onto our computerized inventory system for easy access and viewing so you can find exactly what you are looking for. In doing this, we pass the savings on to our customers by selling parts at a fraction of the original retail price. Bodyline supplies quality parts to professionals and non-professionals alike. Call ahead and we’ll make sure to have the part ready for your arrival. Most parts are available same day. Businesses are welcome to take advantage of our free delivery service within the Golden Horseshoe.
The Recycling Process
Bodyline Auto Recyclers makes every effort to responsibly recycle scrap, end-of-life vehicles in an environmentally conscientious way. As a result of our eco-friendly efforts, we have allied with a network of automotive recyclers who have helped develop the framework for our auto recycling industry. These affiliates include: Car Heaven, Summerhill Impact, Retire Your Ride, Switch Out, and Triple M Metal. We start the recycling process by purchasing older vehicles, which are notorious for producing higher greenhouse gasses, along with decrepit automobiles, and accident vehicles.
How It Works
First, our trained professionals examine and test each vehicle to identify that they are in sound working order. Next, the inventory department overlooks the cars individually. They use a digital pad system to mark specific parts for removal during the dismantling process. However, before we dismantle these vehicles, we remove the tires and extract all fluids such as gasoline, oil, anti-freeze, and washer fluid by siphoning them in our tank and tire department. Once our dismantler department has disassembled the vehicles, the abovementioned parts are placed into stock by warehouse employees, and become a part of our parts inventory. After these parts are purchased, they are sent through our quality control department, where each item is inspected, tested, and cleaned to ensure quality standards are met.
We’re Thorough
Although Bodyline recycles and reuses the majority of each vehicle’s components, the recycling process does not end with us. We supply the oil and anti-freeze to third party companies who reprocess and distribute the liquids. Our drained car batteries are given to external facilities that remove and separate the lead and acid. Worn, unusable tire rubber is disposed of with the Ontario Tire Stewardship for salvage. All other plastic, aluminum, cast, steel, and precious metals are outsourced to be melted down and converted for reusable applications.
On the whole, we deploy extensive, eco-friendly measures to responsibly recycle vehicles and redistribute automotive parts in the best way. As such, Bodyline will maintain these practices and continue to progress as we develop our recycling program.
